The Picky Bookworm

"Books are a uniquely portable magic." –Stephen King

Ok, I’m sure pretty much all of you have seen this week’s Movie. If you haven’t, I recommend you rush over to Disney+ and watch it right away. I just finished watching it for about the 50th time today, and I never get sick of it. Instead of giving you the synopsis and all that jazz, I’m going to share some of my favorite clips from this movie, and ask you to share your favorites in the comments.

Favorite #1: The Wedding scene

The officiant’s accent cracks me up, and I can say this entire speech from heart. Probably one of the best known scenes in this movie.

Favorite scene #2: Vizzini and Man in Black’s competition

This scene has spawned so many great one liners, that even if you haven’t seen this movie, you probably know several of them…”Never go against a Sicilian, when DEATH is on the line!”

Favorite scene #3: Miracle Max

My favorite part about this scene is Max’s wife. She stands up to him when no one else is willing to. She’s a small, but mighty, character.

I heard at one point that a remake was in the works, until Twitter BLEW UP with people saying you can’t remake perfection. Cary Elwes, the actor who plays Wesley, even had something to say:

This tweet was the perfect response to what could have been a horribly devastating situation. This movie is perfect as is, and should never get replicated.
