I’ve been workng with Emma at Damp Pebbles for a while now, and she seriously finds some of the best books. The Influencer is definitely one of those books.
I loved The Influencer so much I bought two of the author’s other books immediately after finishing this one!
I haven’t gotten to read them yet, but if they’re anything like this one, I know I’ll have a hard time putting them down.

This book, you guys, was amazing. So well written, and psychologically invasive. Skye has a way of jumping off the page and into your head.
I’m pretty sure my head is now her summer home. Every time I do something on social media, I make sure my motives are pure, because I don’t ever want to be like Skye.
She’s popular, sure, but everything she does has to be “on brand,” which I bet can become tiring.
Skye definitely had secrets. When Nathan tried to uncover them, Skye started going after his daughters, which was completely uncool.
On one hand, I really liked Nathan, and hated Skye, but on the other, I pitied Skye and despised Nathan for some of his decisions.
Would I recommend this book? You bet your sweet bippy I would! This book has everything I love in a good thriller. I especially love books where I don’t know who the bad guy is until the very end.

Miranda Rijks is a writer of psychological thrillers and suspense novels. She has an eclectic background ranging from law to running a garden centre. She’s been writing all of her life and has a Masters in writing.
A couple of years ago she decided to ditch the business plans and press releases and now she’s living the dream, writing suspense novels full time.

Miranda Rijks has written a book that I cannot compare to any other. I haven’t read a book like it in a very long time. The Influencer has been added to my favorite books of 2021!
I couldn’t put this book down, and loved it so much I immediately purchased 2 of her other books. I definitely, DEFINITELY, recommend this book, especially if you love psychological thrillers.
